Is Maldives Really Doomed to be Submerged Under Sea?

More than 300,000 strong population of the small island nation of the Maldives have been living in fear of total extinction for quite some years now. BBC website describes the Maldives “as vulnerable to a rise in sea levels associated with global warming”. Such descriptions spark fear in the mind of every Maldivian.  The country’s current president’s own warnings that the Maldives is “likely to disappear under the waves if the current pace of climate change continues to raise sea levels”, increased this fear. It is well known that the UN’s Inter- Governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has made publicity about the threat of rising sea levels to island states such as the Maldives. The media has run many articles puffing up this notion that the islands are doomed. Now, the most recent saga in this controversial issue is the news that Times Atlas is going to print the World Map without Maldives from its upcoming 14th edition. This was mentioned in a blog post of UK newspaper the Telegraph. However, this blog post, which was written by a climate change sceptic, James Delingpole, later turned out to be a spoof.

The highest point in Maldives is only 8 feet above sea level. The highest scientific body on climate change UN’s Inter- Governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) puts predictions of 21st century sea level rise at 9 to 88 cm. There are many variables – including how much the expected increase in precipitation will add to snow packs and, most importantly, our greenhouse gas emissions over the next decades. What we do know is that even a small amount of sea level rise will have profound negative effects.

Nature Geoscience, one of the top journals in its field published a study on projected sea level rise confirming the conclusions of the 2007 report from the IPCC. It used data over the last 22,000 years to predict that sea level would rise by between 7cm and 82cm by the end of the century. However, Nature Geoscience has been forced to withdraw this study, due two separate technical mistakes in the paper, which were pointed out by other scientists after it was published. A formal retraction was required, rather than a correction, because the errors undermined the study’s conclusion according to Mark Siddall, from the Earth Sciences Department at the University of Bristol. The IPCC said that sea level would probably rise by 18cm-59cm by 2100, though stressed this was based on incomplete information about ice sheet melting and that the true rise could be higher. Many scientists criticised the IPCC approach as too conservative, and several papers since have suggested that sea level could rise more. Martin Vermeer of the Helsinki University of Technology, Finland and Stefan Rahmstorf of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research in Germany published a study that projected a rise of 0.75m to 1.9m by 2100. The paper – entitled “Constraints on Future sea-Level rise from past sea-level change” – used fossil coral data and temperature records derived from ice-core measurements to reconstruct how sea level has fluctuated with temperature since the peak of the last ice age, and to project how it would rise with warming over the next few decades. In a statement the authors of the paper said: “Since publication of our paper we have become aware of two mistakes which impact the detailed estimation of future sea level rise. This means that we can no longer draw firm conclusions regarding 21st century sea level rise from this study without further work. “One mistake was a miscalculation; the other was not to allow fully for temperature change over the past 2,000 years. Because of these issues we have retracted the paper and will now invest in the further work needed to correct these mistakes.” In the Nature Geoscience retraction, in which Siddall and his colleagues explain their errors, Vermeer and Rahmstorf are thanked for “bringing these issues to our attention”. Perhaps the most damming evidence of fraud against IPCC is the uncompromising verdict of Swedish geologist and physicist Nils-Axel Mörner, formerly chairman of the INQUA International Commission on Sea Level Change. The verdict of Dr Mörner, who for 35 years has been using every known scientific method to study sea levels all over the globe, is that all this talk about the sea rising is nothing but a colossal scare story.
scenario Is Maldives Really Doomed to be Submerged Under Sea?

A figure from the booklet “THE GREATEST LIE EVER TOLD” by Dr Nils-Axel Mörner

Dr. Mörner says that despite fluctuations down as well as up, “the sea is not rising”. “It hasn’t risen in 50 years.” If there is any rise this century it will “not be more than 10cm (four inches), with an uncertainty of plus or minus 10cm”. And quite apart from examining the hard evidence, he says, the elementary laws of physics (latent heat needed to melt ice) tell us that the apocalypse conjured up by Al Gore and Co could not possibly come about. The reason why Dr Mörner, formerly a Stockholm professor, is so certain that these claims about sea level rise are 100 per cent wrong is that they are all based on computer model predictions, whereas his findings are based on “going into the field to observe what is actually happening in the real world”. When running the International Commission on Sea Level Change, he launched a special project on the Maldives. Six times he and his expert team visited the islands, to confirm that the sea has not risen for half a century. Before announcing his findings, he offered to show the inhabitants a film explaining why they had nothing to worry about. The government refused to let it be shown. The UK Channel 4 documentary The Great Global Warming Swindle produced by British television producer Martin Durkin, presents scientists, economists, politicians, writers, and others who dispute the scientific consensus regarding anthropogenic global warming. The film’s basic premise is that the current scientific opinion on the anthropogenic causes of global warming has numerous scientific flaws, and that vested monetary interests in the scientific establishment and the media discourage the public and the scientific community from acknowledging or even debating this. The film won best documentary at the 2007 Io Isabella International Film Week. My conclusion based on all of these scientific studies, is that it is too early to decide a nation’s fate merely based on computer models. Also, it is striking to learn that while they give such warnings, they are not talking of contingency plans once the nation is submerged. Where they will be located, or how they will deal with the situation of climate refugees.

How to Slow Down Aging Process and Live Longer

I reckon that every one wish to live longer and to be younger as long as possible. This aspiration of humankind has been a fascination of many people, especially wise and intelligent people for -maybe- thousands of years. For generations, humans used various methods to live longer and prolong and maintain youthfulness.

In this modern era, some scientists  have been busy just researching this. This article is intended to research on how to live longer and methods that have been proven to be effective to maintain youthfulness. Old is relative, defined as the advanced years of life when a person has reached the stage of considerably lowered due to fading vitality and muscular atrophy.

To maintain youthfulness and slow down aging process, one should think in many ways and shape the lifestyle in a way that facilitates this wish. Many companies advertise superficial measures they say will regain your youthfulness through some skin care products. But it is vital to understand that to slow down aging process, just taking care of skin is not enough. It should be a holistic approach. In short, he/ she should refrain from doing certain harmful things and adopt a lifestyle that is more health conscious. To live younger and longer, there are things to do and there are things that one should not do. I will try to list the most important tips under these two main categories.

Things to Do

Most of the things that a person can do in order to slow down the aging process are either related to healthy food or exercise.  In addition to that, there are some protective measures one should not neglect to take when necessary and also skin care. I will look at these four categories separately under this section.

Food/ Nutrition

Overall, eating healthy food can boost the human body’s immune system and strengthen functions of the body.

Anti Oxidants

By definition, antioxidants such as vitamins A and C are substances that can help prevent the effects of free radical damage in the body. In other words, antioxidants can neutralize the process of oxidation and cellular damage which contributes to aging and disease.

Some foods are richer than other food in antioxidants. Consuming these foods on a regular basis can help reverse signs of aging process. Also, antioxidants can prevent or even reverse various disease processes such as cancer and heart disease, plus reduce blood pressure.

In addition to being deliciously sweet, berries such as raspberries, blueberries and strawberries offer an abundance of antioxidants called  proanthocyanidins.

Mixed berries: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries

Blueberries, raspberries and blackberries are rich in this compound that can help prevent cancer and heart disease. Eat them frozen in a morning smoothie, toss a handful over your morning yogurt or cereal or enjoy them as an afternoon snack.

Broccoli is credited to be the most nutritious vegetable. This cruciferous vegetable contains more vitamin C than an orange and has more calcium than a glass of milk. In addition to minerals and vitamins, broccoli is filled with disease-fighting chemicals called phytonutrients. Sulforaphane, a phytonutrient found in broccoli, has been

shown to lower the risk of many types of cancers. Try steaming or boiling broccoli and seasoning with basil, lemon or salsa for a delicious side dish. This powerhouse vegetable is a perfect addition to omelets, salads or stir-frys.

Garlic is used around the world as a delicious flavouring agent for any dish. The health benefits of garlic have been well touted for centuries, and raw garlic has been used

as a natural antibiotic to kill off some strains of harmful bacteria. Garlic is also useful for decreasing blood pressure and cholesterol, removing heavy metals from the body, preventing cancer and acting as an antifungal and antiviral agent. One clove of garlic contains vitamins A, B and C, selenium, iodine, potassium, iron, calcium, zinc and magnesium.

Green Tea

The magic ingredient that includes in green tea in high concentration is catechin polyphenols. These compounds work in the body with other chemicals to heighten

levels of fat oxidation and thermogenesis (a state created in the body by burning fat as fuel). For weight loss, it is recommended to consume a minimum of three cups of green tea per day. Green tea has also been shown to be preventative against cancer, heart disease and high cholesterol.

Tomatoes are known to be the richest source for anticancer agent called lycopene. research has shown lycopene to be an even more powerful disease fighter than

vitamin E and beta carotene. Lycopene needs fat for optimal absorption to occur. Therefore, putting the healthy fat olive oil in your spaghetti sauce is an excellent trick to increase your lycopene levels. Start including more tomatoes in your diet in the form of sliced, whole, canned, stewed or sauced tomatoes or tomato paste.

All the same, physiological age is a bigger concern than chronological age when considering how frequently and strenuously one should exercise. In theory, a 60-year-old person who has been athletically active throughout his or her existence can endure more physically challenging tasks than a 30-year-old who has been athletically inactive. As a rule, however, a 60-year-old person is less likely to have remained involved with athletics on a participatory level through the years.

Regular workouts can help revitalize the body and keep old-age symptoms at bay. Extensive research by scientists has found that when pursued consistently over time, the long-term payoff from exercising accrues to an individual in a physical potpourri of positive ways. Principally, scientists state that as a result of exercise, one will scale to a higher plateau of fitness, will obtain an added measure of energy, will seldom be afflicted with common illnesses and minor health problems, will avoid being hampered by the unpleasant effects that a sedentary existence can have on his mental and emotional well-being and, above all, will have greater peace of mind.

Regular workouts can slow down or even reverse aging process

Now, ideally, the human body should last in the neighborhood of 120 years. But due mainly to inactivity and an unrestrained approach to experiencing la dolce vita, many of us begin to hasten the aging process as well as to pare down the number of years in our lives very early after our arrival on earth. And in the end, we wind up with a figure far below the one we were capable of reaching had we taken better care of ourselves.

For example, studies show that coronary-artery disease (affecting the arteries that transport blood to the heart muscle) is two times more prevalent among inactive than active people. Studies also show a connection between inactivity and such illnesses as diabetes, ulcers, high-blood pressure and emotional problems brought on by stress and anxiety.

With advancing age, it’s not uncommon to experience a measure of stiffness in the muscles and joints. Joint structures are more easily injured and muscles may get weaker and shorter, particularly if we have led an easygoing, or unhealthy lifestyle. To boost our attempts to reach our full potential in an ongoing manner, we must therefore make a conscious effort to better the range of motion in the joints and keep the muscles resilient.

We can best do this by taking control of the development of our bodies. This may sound simple enough, but actually it’s not simple, or automatic. It requires dedication, determination, planning and work on our part. Nonetheless, to varying degrees, we all have the power within to make ourselves healthy.

Through developing our bodies with weight equipment, aerobics, stretching and a low-fat, low-cholesterol, low-sugar diet, we will not only maximize our physical and mental performances but will also have a firm, slender, supple physique no matter what our chronological ages may be.

Specifically, weight workouts will assist in preventing muscle and bone loss. On average, we lose around 3 percent of our bone mass annually as we age. Yet doing weight-resistant workouts will help to build up the muscles, tighten and tone the body, and increase strength as well as restore bone mass and density.

Aerobic exercises (such as walking, jogging and swimming) are excellent for conditioning vital organs, burning unneeded calories and removing body fat. The combination of these exercises in conjunction with a good stretching routine and a sensible approach to eating will aid in bringing about total-body fitness.

Before beginning any type of physical training, you would be well-served if you had a thorough medical examination by your doctor. This examination should include a check of your heart and blood vessels, your lungs, your blood pressure and muscles, and your joints. Your blood should be analyzed for cholesterol and triglycerides, and a resting electrocardiogram (ECG) should be assessed.

Next, you should apply unwavering effort as the prime mover in making meaningful progress toward achieving your goals. To this end, a game plan is useful to better enable you to stay the course. You should set aside a fixed hour of the day to exercise for 20 to 60 minutes at least three times a week. And you should attempt to keep exercising interesting by engaging in more than one sport and by not performing the same workout routine every time you train.

The tedium of doing the same thing, the same way, over and over again, is the main reason why many people quit working out. But with intelligent planning, you can lessen the odds of quitting. Those exercisers who alternate their workouts tend to find the journey to an agile, youthful body and quick mind a much easier, more enjoyable adventure.

By weight training one day, running or walking another day – and stretching after every workout so as to preserve flexibility – they are able to maintain their motivation and keep exercising a fun-filled experience. More importantly, they lower the risk of overuse injuries by emphasizing different muscle groups of the body at each training session. So remember that variety facilitates not only in adding to overall fitness but also helps to keep the workouts from becoming redundant and stale.

Skin Care

There are a variety of ways to help you maintain a more youthful appearance. In the area of skin aging there is some useful information available on the internet, however there is also a vast amount of unproven and possibly unsafe treatments and product claims advertised. Many ‘natural’ remedies can still cause harm. Consider consulting your doctor or dermatologist before taking any new medication or buying an expensive product for skin rejuvenation (reversal skin aging). Skin aging is usually associated to exposure to sunlight. Sunlight can dramatically increase skin changes associated with ‘aging’. Damage to the top layer of the skin (the epidermis) leads to an uneven, scaling surface along with many growths or bumps. Damage to the pigment cells in this top layer also causes mottling colour changes, brown spots and freckles.

Damage to cells, collagen and elastic tissue of the dermis (the middle layer of the skin) contributes to wrinkles, which range from fine wrinkles to deeper creases and lines. It also reduces the skin’s elasticity (ability to bounce back after stretching or movement of the skin), and can cause lumpy yellowish changes deep to the skin surface due to a process called ‘solar elastosis’.

Skin care is very important to appear fresh and youthful. There are a number of things that are important. Here is a list of tips on how to keep your skin looking lush and beautiful through the decades.

1) Wear Sunscreen

Faithfully wearing sunscreen is one of the best ways to postpone the signs of aging – and the younger you start, the longer you can avoid wrinkles and sun damage. But while many men and women do wear sunscreen daily, most do not apply enough. Dermatologists recommend applying a quarter-size dollop of cream to the face alone, with additional sunscreen applied to the neck, arms, tops of hands, and any other area exposed to the sun. Further, experts say you should reapply sunscreen midday to ensure that the skin stays protected from the afternoon sun.

2) Refine Your Skincare Routine

Adopting a skin care routine that includes proper hygiene, as well as the right products for your skin type, can go a long way toward improving the health and appearance of your skin. First, dermatologists recommend washing the face twice a day – once in the morning, once in the evening. Washing the face excessively throughout the day can dry out the skin, while neglecting facial cleansing can lead to clogged pores. Second, it is important to choose skin care products that suit your skin type. Lighter cleansers, toners, and moisturizers are suitable for oil-prone skin, while emollient-rich products are appropriate for dry skin. Schedule an appointment with a dermatologist to find out which skin care products are right for you.

3) Use an Eye Cream

If you only have room in your budget to splurge on one high-end skin care product, consider making it an eye cream that combats the effects of aging. In general, the more expensive eye creams contain a higher concentration of wrinkle-fighting, moisturizing, and skin-brightening ingredients to refresh the eye area. Eye serums and creams can reduce puffiness, lighten dark circles, rejuvenate dull skin, and fill in fine lines.

4) Exfoliate on a Regular Basis

Weekly exfoliation assists in skin renewal by ridding the face and body of dead skin, allowing new skin to regenerate. However, many exfoliators are guilty of containing ingredients that are too harsh on facial skin. When choosing an exfoliation product for your face, it is important to select one that is appropriate for your skin type. For example, if you have acne-prone skin, it may be a good idea to purchase a facial product that contains salicylic acid. Those with drier skin can opt for a facial treatment that exfoliates while hydrating the skin.

5) Choose the Right Make-up for Your Skin Type

Applying concealers, foundations, and powders that complement your skin tone and mask flaws can improve your appearance in a matter of minutes. With make-up manufacturing houses vying to develop new beauty products that promise to fill in wrinkles, conceal age spots, and even skin tone, women have a suite of facial coverage options available to them. The trick is to choose the product and shade that is right for you.

6) Undergo Professional Skincare Treatments – Visit a Medical Spa

Medical spas offer a variety of non-surgical skin care treatments that can reduce the appearance of wrinkles, sun damage, and age spots. From peels and injectables to laser treatments, physician-grade skin care treatments can erase years of aging in a matter of minutes.

  • Chemical peels
  • Laser skin resurfacing
  • Laser skin tightening
  • IPL TM fotofacial
  • Injecting such as BOTOX® Cosmetic and Restylane®
  • Thernage® skin tightening
  • Portrait®plasma regeneration
7) Drink More Water

Drinking at least eight cups of water each day helps keep skin hydrated and healthy, while eliminating toxins from the body. Toxins from the environment, unhealthy food and drink choices, harsh cleansers, and other products used on a daily basis can affect the appearance of our skin. Drinking water naturally detoxifies the skin and body of these harmful substances, promoting a more luminously beautiful complexion.

8) Eat Fruits and Vegetables Rich in Antioxidants

I have mentioned earlier how important antioxidants are to slow down aging process. In addition to the foods that are rich in antioxidants, vibrantly hued fruits and veggies are loaded with youth-preserving vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Dark green, leafy vegetables such as kale, spinach, and collard greens and brightly colored veggies such as carrots, squash, and tomatoes are excellent sources of vitamins A and C, calcium, fiber, and carotenoids, all of which offer excellent anti-aging benefits. For a high dose of vitamin C, try oranges, limes, and strawberries.

Protective Measures

Most of the tips included under skincare are actually protective measures. In addition to that, healthcare and early diagnosis as well as dental care are crucial protective measures one can be careful to take for anti-aging.

Early Diagnosis and Treatment

Early diagnosis and early treatment of diseases in its early stages is often the key to success. The 21th century saw impressive applications of engineering technology in diagnosis, as well as the application of such technology in other fields of medicine.

Electrocardiogram (testing heart function); electroencephalogram (brain); electroretinography and related techniques (vision) may be briefly mentioned. And in the category of imaging: the “classical” X-ray and its 3-dimensional development, computer tomography (CT); ultrasonic echography

Such advances continue, particularly in making such high-tech diagnostic methods more “accessible”; but more recently the most striking progress has been in biochemical detection methods. These have a long history, but have recently advanced rapidly, with the development of highly selective and specific biochemical tests which are easy to use — sometimes so easy that they have moved out of the laboratory altogether. These have great potential in mass-screening tests; but here the problems tend to be not so much technical, but more organisational and economic.

Clean up Your Dental Act

After 40, the main cause of tooth loss is periodontal or gum disease. The culprit: “plaque”, a sticky film made up of bacteria, saliva, and food debris. Bacteria produces toxins that irritate gums, making them recede and form pockets. If the immune system of the body can’t fight the bacterial invasion , the bones anchoring the teeth eventually erode and teeth fall out.

Brushing every after meals, and daily flossing will reduce plaque attacks. Teeth must be cleaned by dentist at least twice a year.

Things to Avoid

In order to slow down the aging process, there are particular things in life to avoid. The following are the factors that make people age faster: sunlight, caffeine, alcohol, smoking.

Avoid Sunlight

Sunlight can directly damage cells, and the other components of the skin. It leads to the generation of free radicals which can cause ‘oxidant’ damage to the skin. This leads to damage to the genetic material of cells, along with other components of cells and the skin.

Avoid Caffeine

Caffeine does more harm than good. A can of soda or a cup of coffee produces drying effects on the skin. If a girl does not drink enough water to counteract the salt intake from these high caffeine drinks, skin becomes ashy and dull. Regular caffeine intake makes a girl age faster. So the next time you reach for your favorite soda,

caffeine 300x136 How to Slow Down Aging Process and Live Longer

Caffeine is also addictive

think of some alternatives. Maybe only drink half the glass or can. Maybe you could drink a non-caffeinated drink. If you’re really concerned about your skin, drink a tall glass of ice cold water.

Avoid Alcohol and Cigarettes

Alcohol and cigarettes have both an immediate and long-term effect on the appearance of your skin. In the short-term, the consumption of alcohol and cigarettes can leave the skin dehydrated, sallow, puffy, and dry. After long periods of alcohol and cigarette use, the skin ages at a more rapid rate, leaving behind wrinkles and age spots. Alcohol can also dry the skin. If consumed heavily, it can cause broken capillaries under the eyes. These dark puffy circles cause a girl to look older and will make

According to British physician Douglas Model, ( Member of the Royal College of Physicians), smokers tend to have at least one of the following: pronounced wrinkling and lines, gauntness or

Conspiracy Theories (3): Princess Diana was Murdered by the British Establishment

2 62 diana tiara Conspiracy Theories (3): Princess Diana was Murdered by the British Establishment

Diana was a real charming princess

Princess Diana was one of the most loved people in recent times. When she was betrayed by her husband Prince Charles, millions of people sympathized with her. The innocent, the beautiful princess was like a dream.

When the news of Diana and her then boyfriend Dodi Alfayed’s car crash that killed them on the spot on 31August, 1997, was the most hear-breaking news I had ever heard in my life so far. instantaneously, rumours spread like wild fire and they have gained the status of a conspiracy theory now. Dodi (originally Imad El-Din) was the eldest son of Egyptian billionaire Mohamed Alfayed who has been living and investing in UK since 1974.

The prime driver behind this conspiracy theory is none other than dodi’s father Mohamed Alfayed. Fayed believed that the driver, Heri Paul (possibly an agent of  British Secret Intelligent Service – MI6), had plotted with the Royal Family to kill Diana and Dodi. On 2 October 2007, an inquest was opened in London. On 18 February 2008, Mohamed Alfayed himself wasn’t very fond of British governments, as for years, he unsuccessfully sought British citizenship. Both Labour and Conservative Home Secretaries rejected his applications.

Fayed accused Prince Philip and Prince Charles of killing Diana and Dodi because Charles was furious that his ex-wife was dating Dodi. Many suspect that the British Royal Family was deeply worried about the prospect of the mother the future King (Prince William) of Britain will be married to a Muslim and possibly having a Muslim Brother. There were rumours that infact Princess Diana was pregnant at the time of her untimely death.

dianacar Conspiracy Theories (3): Princess Diana was Murdered by the British Establishment

This is the car where Princess Diana and Dodi were just after the crash

Most recently, the conspiracy theory that Princess Diana and Dodi were murdered by the British establishment, was further fueled with the release of the documentary named “Unlawful Killing” directed by Keith Allen with detailed information and images. It was released in this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Some of the images included in this documentary were never released in UK. Therefore, it is not surprising to learn that this documentary is banned in UK.

In the light of the documentary there are some very important unanswered questions or mysteries surrounding the accident that lead to the death of Princess Diana and her boyfriend Dodi. One such mystery was that there were other vehicles apart from paparazzi that followed Diana’s car. Another mystery was why in the whole of Paris, CCTV cameras were turned off just on that route from Titz Hotel to the  Pond de l’Alma road tunnel. Also, questions are raised by the fact that no one from the British Royal Family was summoned for the testimony of inquest of Diana’s death. Why there was no autopsy done. Some witnessed a loud bang just before the accident. In addition to that, in the note Diana wrote four years before her death saying her husband was trying to kill her planing an accident in her car.

Conspiracy Theories (2): 9/11 Attack Was Not Carried Out by Al-Qaeda

This is not what I believe, but it is a conspiracy theory on September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Centre in New York. The attack destroyed the 110 story (1727 ft) twin towers. Many architects and scientists argue that 9/11 was not carried out by terrorists, leaving us to believe that it was carried out by those who directly benefited politically and militarily.

There are some very suspicious points raised by the conspiracy theorists. One such theory was that the twin towers did not collapse because of airplanes, but by bombs. That there are numerous eye witness accounts of those who escaped the towers that  they heard explosions inside the building (much lower than where the planes truck) as attempted to get out of the building. Many architects and scientists even maintain that a planes fuel cannot produce enough heat to melt steel of the two buildings that collapsed.

The other big argument is about the people accused of being hijackers. After the September 11 attacks, the “Loose Change” documentary stated that all of the hijackers were in fact alive in other countries. They raised the point that how did the passports of the terrorists survive the explosion? In the aftermath of the attacks, passports and identification were found as evidence. Many skeptics question how identification made out of paper survived an explosion, which destroyed buildings.

Loose Change 9/11 – An American Coup

There are also arguments on whether aluminum planes can penetrate steel structure of World Trade Centre. Commercial airplanes’ frames are constructed with a very light aluminum material, in order to make it easier to fly. Theorists maintain that there is no possible way an airplane can do as much damage as it did to the Twin Towers as it did. Theorists believe that missiles or explosives were used to ensure the buildings collapsed.

When asked whether he has “advanced knowledge of 9/11”, George W. Bush simply could not answer that question. That gives another reason for conspiracy theorists that 9/11 was an inside job by US government.

Conspiracy Theories (1): Area 51, the backyard of Aliens

In this series of conspiracy theories, I will try to focus on the most talked about conspiracy theories that have been ‘hovering’ above us for a long time. The biggest reason why these theories have been regarded as conspiracy in nature is the complete silence and secrecy by governments, especially those of USA, Russia and other powerful countries.

Area 51 is a top secret US military base located in southern Nevada, 133 km north-north west of Las Vegas. It is also known as the Secret UFO Headquarters for UFO and Paranormal Activities. It is called area 51 because it is in grid no 51 of the Nevada test site. Area 51 is controlled by the United States Air force Test Flight Centre. The base was created in 1954 and is used for testing exotic aircraft and weapons.

The first flight test was carried out to test the secret U-2 spy plane that was used to fly missions over Soviet Union. After that other flights, including SR-71, A-12, D-21, and F-117A were also tested and housed in Area 51. In 1980s the base became a larger base along with runway of 6 miles. Then the mysterious lights began to appear and the US government closed many viewpoints overlooking the base.

A physicist named Bob lazar who worked at another military base located south of Area 51 claimed that Area 51 was used as a testing ground for extremely advanced aircraft and UFOs they got by trading with aliens. Many people believed Area 51 was indeed a secret test site for UFOs because of numerous sightings of lights in the night sky.

The most compelling evidence about the aliens was the famous ‘alien interview’, which is included in this article.  There are also videos of UFO sightings around the Area 51.
